GLENCOE PLAT MAP

This is a digitized plat map of Glencoe, it is also referred to as a base map.  This map was created by entering coordinates from an existing map into a computer using a digitizing tablet and GIS software.  Using this technology, any combination of digitized features can be combined on a map.  For instance, The map on this page  is made from a highway map, a railroad map, and a street map of Glencoe, all of which can be viewed separately, or as a layer of a combination of maps.
